I'm carrying a High Power Detective... pretty much stock and 9x19mm.
For leather it is in a South African made leather (don't ask me what kind) holster. I don't know exactly what it is, but I know it works well and is reasonably easy to carry...

Hi Power 40 cal that Don Williams did his magic on.
And it's in a Blade-Tech holster. No, not leather. But Kydex. A few years ago I got to liking the positive action of kydex if you're drawing and holstering multiple times during practice. Plus they're a skosh thinner. I have a number of really nice leather holsters made by the best--Lou Alessi from a few years ago--he was a great person to talk with on the phone and did great work, Josh Bulman (I don't know if he is still in business) , Milt Sparks, etc. Special occasion holsters.

As of one(1) hour ago, I was carrying my KelTec P3AT with a Crimson Trace laser in a wallet holster. This combo works really well for me during our hot months. I forget that it is even there.

Hello,
Generally, I carry a Glock 19 with one spare magazine. They are accurate, reliable and I know how to work on them. They are not too difficult to conceal even in this hot, humid South Carolina summer. I've purchased and tried the Glock 43, but they just don't suit me due to the size of my hands. I know a lot of folks that do however have a favorable experience with them.

EDC is thoroughly reworked 9mm Para Hawg Hi-Cap (12+1) in a custom leather OWB holster. Danny Hasty, owner of Heavy Armor Division even sent a video prior to returning it. He used to work for Para & did an excellent job on this.

Lately, I've been carrying my other favorite pistol - a COLT Government Model .45 Automatic - carried in a Dual Use Cross Draw Holster with extra magazines carried in a Pennsylvania State Police Double Magazine Carrier, both Made by Rusty Sherrick.
Yes, going from 13 Rounds to 7 Shots at Salvation is a bit different... but man, I do love my Forty-5s.
I'll always keep a loaded 9mm Browning near by thou.

I have quite a few guns in my carry rotation. Currently all strikers and occasionally a DA revolver. In the last year or so I've carried a Steyr S9 A1 the most by far. I'd like to get a surplus Hp and restore it for a carry gun. Install night sights, grips, trigger......... Condition of surplus HP's seems pretty poor right now for the asking prices. Carrying a HP would require putting away the strikers for a while. I shoot my HP as well or better than anything but occasionally forget to swipe off the safety.

Today the carry gun is a 1911A1 plain old commercial Colt's made in 1932.
Nothing particularly unusual about it except it is completely reliable, acceptably accurate and a pleasure to shoot.
My first pistol when I was 10 was a GI 1911A1 I traded for... but that is another story...
To me the 1911 is always a good choice.

On duty it's a Glock 22, soon to be replaced by either a Sig P320 or a Glock 17M. Off duty it's a Beretta 92.

I'll be at work today, so I'll have my CZ82 in a strong side Blade Tech paddle, and my P32 in a back pocket Don Hume.
