Sort of lazy today...
I'm carrying the S&W Shield 45. Easy to conceal, fairly light weight and accurate.
When I first got it the Shield45 had feeding problems... a trip to S&W fixed that...
They are great little carry guns.

Hello, Nice choice and not many folks think about them! This morning, headed to where no cell phones can reach me. This calls for the ultra concealable, super powerful.... I've got one stowed away for my son that could not take it overseas to South Korea where he is teaching! He can nail just about anything with his Ruger 22/45 and has proven it! Great picture ruber! Thanks, I need to get an updated photo. I wasn't planning on getting a MkIII, but saw it at a discontinued gun sale pretty cheap and picked it up.
I added in some aftermarket goodies to give it the same manual of arms as my others and it turned out to be a great field gun.
I tend to work 10 days on, 4 off, so on my Friday off I'll get out for a long hike/rabbit hunt and this 22/45 has replaced my Browning SA22 as my goto.
Hope your son can gets as much enjoyment out of his. -Chris

Hello Chris, Well, my son Andrew is on Jeju Island in the Korean Straits at the moment and I doubt while living there he will have a chance to enjoy his Ruger 22/45. I think that I gave it to him as a Christmas gift some couple of years ago and man can he hit something with it! A year or so ago, I was out shooting with fellow member Vant, Andrew and some other friends and there was nothing he couldn't miss with the 22/45! We were out "decommissioning" a R-22 refrigerant jug one day and Andrew knocked it off the berm with his 22/45. Great gun! Chris

Today, for reasons that I won't share, the largest I could carry was a KT P32, and no extra mag.
Most days I carry a Kahr PM9 w/CT and one or two extra 7 round mags.

I recently went from Model 27, First Gen, Glock (.40 S&W) to a Browning Hi-Power. It's taken a while to get used to the extra weight, but not all that long. I couldn't be happier. I'm a whole lot more accurate out of the holster when using a timer at 25 feet. That's given me a ton of confidence I didn't have before with the .40. I was slightly worried about concealing it, but it's not posed the slightest problem..

Nice choice... I think the HP with a 15rd magazine if fully equal to a Glock 19 and a lot nicer... V/r Chuck I recently went from Model 27, First Gen, Glock (.40 S&W) to a Browning Hi-Power. Sorry for the delayed response, but yes, the CZ82 is 9x18 Makarov. I prefer steel guns with hammers, and the CZ82 is a real champ.

All during Hurricane Irma which passed right over us, I carried my S&W Shield 45ACP with Speer Gold Dot short barrel ammo...
Today I'm back with a Colt's Commander in 45ACP.
Fairly basic choices... but comforting.

Needed to carry large Cash today, so grabbed my ever handy Ex-German Police Sig 225 P-6 (DA/SA 9mm). It is very accurate & 100% reliable. I'm most comfortable carrying it or a Russian or Polish P-64 Makarov in a coat pocket. To me, the DA/SA platform seems best suited for dealing with sudden urban surprises. I picked up a couple of Sig P6/225 when they first started showing up for sale in the USA. The price then was outstanding, and I have yet to have a problem with either one. They just "fit" my hand wonderfully. I am truly impressed with these Sigs.

S&W M&P 2.0 in a 10 year old safari land duty holster that is starting to show every minute of its age.

THe P6/225 is a great gun... and really fits my hand too... when they first hit I got some for $249 each in Excellent plus condition. I bought them for use in my Texas CHL classes, and everyone liked them... very reliable and very accurate. At the price I wish I had bought more... Most people don't realize how well the P6/225 fits hands and how well it conceals. V/r Chuck Needed to carry large Cash today, so grabbed my ever handy Ex-German Police Sig 225 P-6 (DA/SA 9mm).
