THe P6/225 is a great gun... and really fits my hand too... when they first hit I got some for $249 each in Excellent plus condition. I bought them for use in my Texas CHL classes, and everyone liked them... very reliable and very accurate. At the price I wish I had bought more... Most people don't realize how well the P6/225 fits hands and how well it conceals. V/r Chuck I paid just a little bit more than you did($295 & $310), but they were in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition, and were a bargain in my way of thinking. I lightened the mainsprings to 19# ones, installed short triggers, and of course, added wood grips. If memory serves(always a question these days), both came with police holsters, original Sig blue plastic boxes, leather mag carriers, and one came with 3 mags, and the other with 2 mags. What a bargain!! I picked up a couple of Sig P6/225 when they first started showing up for sale in the USA. The price then was outstanding, and I have yet to have a problem with either one. They just "fit" my hand wonderfully. I am truly impressed with these Sigs.

Mine came with German police holsters (good quality, but the design is of no use for carry being more military type than CC) and a mag carrier which was not nearly as good a quality as the holsters. Mine are stock... I probably should tinker with at least one of them... Can you post a pic of the wood grips? What brand/type did you buy? The p6/225 is one of my favorites for carry, but does not fit my hands well as is, I wind up putting one of those Hogue sleeves over the grips. Without that, I need to work harder than I want to in order to get a good grip. But always been totally reliable and one of the best triggers I have.
A few years back, I got one of the Sig Shop Father's Day specials and got the action enhancement package and the short reset trigger. It was really amazing when it came back, really good work. If I ever get one of their full size pistols, I'll get the same packages for that.

Thanks Chuck I purchased a pair of very nice wood grips from Grips4U, back when Pete Fondla(sp) owned the business. His prices were much better than the new owner's prices. Good quality grips that I believe are made in Europe somewhere. Then I purchased a pair of wood thin walnut grips from Marschal grips in Budapest Hungary for my second P6/225. The first pair of Marschal grips I purchased for my P6/225 were his std. thickness model, and they were thicker than my hand likes. They would fit other folks' hand well, I am sure, but just not mine. Dennis Marschal makes quality grips. I am a true grip-a-holic, and there is no cure. I am nearly computer illiterate, and have no idea how to post photos, so sorry about that.

Thanks for posting the pic of the holster etc. I had been wondering where those G1 cleaning kits in in my miscellaneous draw came from... V/r Chuck This one is set up like my ex-German police, Sig 225 P-6. I was fortunate to find a set of Pachmayr Grips for it, which greatly improved hold & recoil. Mine has the P-6 keyhole hammer, but otherwise identical.
It came with the box, shoulder holster & cleaning kit, spare mag . Highly recommended !

CZ 75B.
I had really been struggling with finding something I could shoot as well and comfortably as a HP but had a SA/DA setup. A few years back, I picked up a 75B in 40, but just wasn't smitten with it.
It has finally broken in and has become my go to. And it holds up well to the dust and grime too!

Hanshi, I like that Smith! This bulldog used to be my companion backpacking for a while. Always wanted a nice S&W to take its place, but it always worked well enough.

Hello, Yesterday, I went out for a meet up with the Horry County Tokarev Society at my friends house. Having to of course carry something Com-Bloc, I carried the Bulgarian Makarov in a Barsony OWB holster under a flannel shirt. I was kinda of unseasonably warm day by late afternoon, but the MAK concealed nicely.

Went way out of character today and actually carried a Glock 43!!! Ok, ok, I don't expect it to be a regular thing. I got it for my daughter and I've been experimenting with different ammo and carry modes before I give it to her. Got it used......WITH A SHINY CHROMED SLIDE!!!

Today I'm carrying a S&W Shield 45 in a custom holster made by Ryan Grizzle...
It conceals very well is accurate and since it came back from the S&W factory it is reliable... the magazine springs that came with the gun were too stiff to load full capacity even with a mag loader... and the recoil spring was not strong enough to strip a round off the magazine even when the mag was down loaded... S&W fixed it at no cost to me and works fine now.j
The big plus to this gun is it's concealibility...
