This is wonderful info, and the most extensive I have been able to find so far! I am new to the Hi-Power game, but have been a big fan of CZ's, which are very similar. I just recently purchased my first FEG Hi-Power and am looking to determine its date of manufacturer. Is there anywhere on the net that has a serial number lookup? My S/N is in the B 26XXX range, MOD.PJK-9HP and is a KBI import, and although the info on this page does give me an idea, I'd like to nail it down. Thank for and help!!

You will need to look through the charts, but one of them has all of that information available.
*Adding a chart and a post re my FEG... a response from Laszlo. This may be found near the end of the first page of this thread and may date your pistol to 1988. Open the chart image in a new tab to make it readable!
So your pistol has both Kassnar and CAI marked, that is strange. By the way B14XXX cover P9 and P9M as well. But I think you have P9 because of KBI marks. Based on my data this is could be produced in Q1 1986.
This is the BXXXXX serial range. Number refer to the actual year's latest produced serial nr.
Cheers,
Tim

Thanks for the FEG catalog tibi8808, and welcome to HPC. I think we have the best FEG content, archives, and reference material on the web thanks to folks like you and Lazlo. Your catalog fits in well, thanks for posting. I downloaded and saved to my files.

At the catalog page 21 you could see the most rare FÉG pistol, the 6,35 calibre RL-6,35. Only two had been made.

The catalog is very useful indeed... thanks very much.
I'm trying to find a program that will translate a PDF file... I think it is something we will want to add to our reference material if you don't object... so far no luck on translation software. We can still add it to the reference library, but a translation would be a big help.
Thanks again...
Chuck

Chuck Hi Chuck, I think I did the same thing when I firtst open the file, disappointed in was in Hungarian. Then took another look when cycling through the pages and noticed there were four different language versions. The pages are stacked by the green text boxes with different languages, first is Hungarian, the next is the English version. Although they call the semi auto pistols revolvers, so perhaps there is a bit to be desired with the translations from Hungarian to English.

Laszlo (beczl), just an FYI if you have not checked on some of your earlier posts. Unfortunately, many of the images have dropped their links and are no longer showing. Same for some of mine, but some of my dropped images were self-inflicted when I was trying to clean up some images on my hosting site. Some hosting sites drop images after a certain period of time or after a period of no or limited activity. screen shot from one of your post with "image not found" notice

Thanks Todd, I noticed that images that have not been viewed in more than 1 year would be automatically deleted from vgy.me. Unfortunately, most image hosting services have the same feature, I tried to upload it to a different hosting than edit my older posts.
