According to Laslo's chart on page 2 of this thread, it is a P9RK from 1991.

Now I understand how to interpret László's table. It dates from the beginning of 1991. I'm thinking about buying it (mainly out of respect for FÉG) and I was curious about the year of manufacture. Thanks!

Is Laslo still out there? Still looking for info on my previous post about FEG P9 # L966xx. Thanks! Laszlo has been a very busy man!
I just saw an episode of Forgotten Weapons where the host referred to a book that Laszlo has published: "Rifles On The Danube". Here is a link to the web site:
Here's the link to the Forgotten Weapons site where I found the above book:
Looks like a quality piece of work.
Congratulations, Laszlo!

beczl have a quick question for you on the FEG counterfeits. We have had a few recent posts on the counterfeit HPs over the past few weeks. Question is, after FEG took the time and effort to duplicate roll marks and many proof marks, why did FEG use their own serial number sequences rather than copy an FN pattern, such as prefix 245 followed by the number? Looking forward to your new book Rifles on the Danube.

Does anyone have info on FEGs sold to South Africa? Looking elsewhere, common lore is that the Luger M80's were specifically marketed to them by 1980; however, the incredible information/charts at the beginning of this thread state they were sold to Germany/Austria in the 1990s.
