Great photos, Chuck. Thanks for sharing. P.S. I think I understand the desire to have that 1937 even if it is not in perfect shape.

After reading Jaypee's tutorial, I now know how to post photos. In honor of that achievement, here is a photo of my recently purchased 1994 vintage Mark III.

^^^^That there is proof of my contention that FN's epoxy Hi Power finish could often look as nice as blue from just a few inches away.^^^^ Put wood grips on that and one would be hard pressed to discern that it wasn't a new blued Vigilante.
Very nice!

How do you like those stock grips for shooting? I don't mind them at all. For a video review, see here: youtu.be/Ldb3QfCBsEYHoward

Now, if you all don't mind, I'll add a photo of my Charles Daly HP. It sports a nice set of Master's Grips from BHSS, and it is refinished in gray/green durapark from Lauer Custom Weaponry.

What a beautiful CDHP Howard. It's nice to see one getting the attention they deserve. This is mine, and all I did was to add some MMC adjustable sights and some Herret's grips, plus remove the magazine disconnector. JP{

I've seen that one before! Great looking pistol. The finish on mine was pretty rough when I got it. Hence the durapark!

Now, you'll be able to compare the durability of the OEM epoxy finish and the durapark finish. Let is know which holds up best.

Thanks all! As an FYI, I've had good luck with LCW products.

Thought I'd post this via Imgur since PB is holding all my photos hostage (did I mention how difficult it is to learn, or even WANT to learn a new system at my age?). Frankengun with non FP safety slide and Mklll cast frame. It shoots good.
