Nice.
Don Williams is a treasure for BHP owners, and no slouch with 1911's. He's been very patient with some of my dumber questions and goes out of his way to help a shooter out.

Here's a shot of my small family of FN HPs and two distant relatives. From top to bottom: Stock FN HP, MK II, Circa 1985. Israeli contract FN, MKII, also circa 1985. Next, a 2nd edition of FEG's version of the HP, P9M I believe and at the bottom a recently re-blued P9.

A pic of my BHP family ...well, actually there are 3 Glocks in the lower left visiting the rifles that are privileged to reside with the BHPs .....
And NO, the BHPs don't mind at all...while the Glocks feel privileged .....

submoa,
Looking at that first pic makes me think that it might be fun to have dementia. Every day would be a new discovery.

THANKS for the offer Chuck, I'm good with the NIB 511ZT ('16) Standard Sport (Blue-Adjustable) I mentioned I bought on GB yesterday...it ought to ship today . Now if you come across a 511ZR ('17) either MkIII (Epoxy-Vigilante/Fixed) or Standard (Blue-Vigilante/Fixed or Blue-Sport/Adjustable) I'd be VERY interested, my LGS is on the hunt for me as we speak .....

I suppose the question 'will the 2016 code be the last that was made? Or will 2017 guns show up? Remains to be seen I suppose... V/r Chuck

Hey gt40doc; thanks for commenting my friend :-).
Until 12/16 all my BHPs were stuffed in 3 different safes making it near impossible to find a particular BHP for reference, fondling or actually shooting :-(. With the new (bigger) safe, they're all in one place...there are only a few squeezed in behind the ones in the front rows and half a dozen in with the rifles...awaiting new black nylon cases.....

You're gonna need another huge safe. Maybe it'd be easier to move into an old bank building...
