Nice guns... thanks for sharing the photos... The old FEG has lots of character... I would bet it would be able to tell some stories if it could talk... V/r Chuck Here's my ex-Israeli FEG. Came with the magazine disconnect removed and a 2-coil trigger return spring added. Has an EXCELLENT trigger pull, and feeds Federal Classic C9BP JHPs flawlessly as long as I use Mec-Gar magazines (which hold the top cartridge with a little bit more upward tilt than does the milsurp mags). It's true to the original Hi Power in every respect except for the little flare at the bottom front of the mag well. Here's my MKIII - one of the early ones that still has the forged frame. It originally came with the adjustable target sights, but sometime years ago I sent the slide off to Wilson Combat to have Novak tritium sights installed. Eventually the tritium gave up the ghost, and I put the adjustables back on. I never really warmed up to the adjustables sights though, so I couple of years ago I put the factory MKIII fixed sights on it, as well as replaced the original checkered wood grips with Uncle Mike's rubber grips as licensed from Spegel.

My first, and only other one, was one I had customized back in the 1970s. S&W sights, custom barrel and a few other bells and whistles. Please kick me because - can you believe it - I let it go. Just had to refill that vacant space not that long after. Won't let this one get away.

My modest family of BHPs 2- '86 FN Lightweights, found 2 yrs apart one county away and 600 ser# apart. FEG rescue, it was a toolbox gun in bad shape before I saved it. This is my shooter, it sees more rounds than all the others. FM95 detective, currently working through some part replacements and issues. Eventually to be mated with a lw lower for carry. '90 MK3 sport with a brownells threaded barrel '68 Ser#T241xxx T Series rescue. Someone decided to "upgrade" the sights, but I cant find much info on parked T series, i wonder if it is a military contract peice? This is slated for a full tilt rebuild in the future.
