Fun video Howard.
I use .22’s as a tool to get new shooters up to speed or to transition experienced shooters to new scenarios/skills.
It would be interesting to see a similar test done with someone less experienced. I do stick to each caliber for longer though.

I may have to sweet-talk my daughter into coming out to the range for that one. She has very little experience with handguns. Howard

I think any practice is good. My Dad competed with a 1911 45, he bought a 22 (don't remember which)with the same weight & feel of a 1911 to practice with. Recoil was different of course, but aiming & hitting POI was what he was working on. I have carried a small 22 in hot weather clothing. In that case practice with the pistol became very important.
