Because this just happened. I can’t take a decent gun pic to save my life. Serial is 671xxx. Dates to 1939 or 1940. My first pre model number Smith revolver and my first Smith 22. Easily 95# and original pre war magnas. Felling pretty happy right now. Got a good deal too, I believe.

That is a really fine example of a pre war Outdoors-Man revolver. Really nice condition and beautiful stocks on it.
I'd expect the stocks alone would bring at least $200!!! you don't see them that nice very often.
I"m sure you will really enjoy that old S&W... it is a real prize find.

Wow. what a great piece of history and in such great condition. I grew up with something similar called the K22 Masterpiece.
