@ pjk9hp here is one for you to add. Recently on sale (now sold) with Atlantic Firearms, crest with Arabic letters and "General Intelligence" on the slide before the crest. Similar to the Iraq crest, but lacking some elements and detail. Also interesting is the position of the serial number over/on top of the frame cam. I have seen them close to the cam, even touching, but nothing as obvious as this example. I dont think FN would have placed the serial number in that location. The crest is rather poorly stamped, lacking in sharpness and detail. Perhaps not marked by FN but by the "Intelligence" group? Link atlanticfirearms.com/fn-hipower-general-intelligence-model  |

Hello, Todd,
I can't imagine FN stamping across the locking cam either. However, the numbers are nicely stamped, but it looks like they used a letter O in place of a numeral 0 on the frame & slide.

Why would "GENERAL INTELLIGENCE" be in English and not Arabic???

Thanks to you we have an outstanding crested Hi Power reference section. I dont think there is another site or publication that comes close to this thread for information on crests and symbols along with images for the Hi Power collector. Thanks for posting and sharing all your research and documentation. This thread and many others is what makes HPC such a great forum. |
