Approx. one week after seeing this video, I was at my LGS and they had a very nice Highway Patrolman S&W with a 6in. bbl. for sale. I believe they were asking $650. That is the first one that I have seen locally for sale in quite some time. That's a pretty fair price too in today's market. Howard

I've owned a few S&W M27s and scads of M28s. This 27 was a 6" in the early 1970s, but I sent it back to S&W for a 5" barrel. My only 28 is all I now need and actually prefer it to the 27. The 27 is too nice to get holster wear, anyway.

Just a data point, but a S&W Highway Patrolman M28-2 just sold in the Rock Island auctions for $900!!
