Sometime I'll get photos up. Mostly I have enjoyed 1911's (of various makes, sizes, and calibers) and Hi Powers. But, I have two Smith & Wessons. One is a Model 29, 8 and 3/8 inch, nickel, from 1980. Beautiful weapon, a trigger action that is just wonderful, bordering on a sensuous experience. I have carefully used it over the years, nothing in the way of super potent rounds--those were for the Super Blackhawk. The other S&W is a Model 40, 1963, beautiful blue, unfired in original box. This one I just love to look at.

I look forward to seeing your Mod. 40. I wanted one back when they were being produced(my older brother had one), but the finances were never there. When S&W recently brought out their "Classic Series" revolvers, I got to purchase my Mod 40. I love looking at it, but also take it to the range with wadcutters. A true classic!!

Here's an older original "Centennial", or m40. To this day, they are still wonderful "pocket", or deep concealment guns.

That is one dandy Mod 40 S&W. I, also, added the Tyler T-grip to my Mod. 40. That makes it look and feel perfect to me.

I finally got back home to get a picture. The goliath and the little guy. As I mentioned previously, the model 40 is from 1963, the model 29 is from 1980. Attachments:
