Interesting... I had not seen the safety removal before... I was not aware S&W would make the frame plugs available either... Last time I talked to S&W I was asking about fitting a thumb safety to a gun that came without it... which they would not do at that time... I guess I need to check and see if they will do that now...

You’re welcome. “Fitting” a safety on the 2.0 version of the M&P should actually be easier than deleting one. It would be as simple as removing the sear block, popping out the frame plugs, installing the safety/detent & spring, and putting it all back together. It probably took me longer to type out the description than the operation itself would take.
