I find the answer to this question changes for me depending upon several things. The first being "what time of year is it, and how am I dressed?". This is followed closely by "Where am I going and what will I be wearing?" Obviously, if I'm going swimming in July, I'll choose a different carry method than if I'm going to a banquet in December. In any case, my favorite carry method is plain, old, outside the waistband. It's comfortable, provides good access to my pistol, and with proper "cover garment" it allows for good concealment. What is your favorite carry method?

I use a strong side OWB holster almost exclusively... with a T-shirt tucked in and a loose Polo shirt most guns conceal well... FWIW Chuck I find the answer to this question changes for me depending upon several things. The first being "what time of year is it, and how am I dressed?". Hello Howard,
Generally strong side outside the waistband is my preferred method of carry.

During our hot months, I use a wallet holster with a KelTecP3AT fitted with a CT laser.

As we move toward cooler weather here in the soon-to-be-frozen-north, I start to gravitate toward shoulder holsters. I realize they have gone somewhat out of vogue in recent years, but they are still comfortable and provide great access especially when seated. Plus, I just like the way they look!

Sorry, I had to do a double-take. For a moment, I thought that was a picture of me!

Depending; smaller ones in a coat pocket and autos in pancake or slide holsters. Difficult to carry - for me - in warm weather so mostly fall/winter carry. Generally on weak side where I seldom carry keys, etc, strong side would require too much reaching into the pocket.

For me it's IWB in a Leather Holster but none of this Kydex stuff. But also a shoulder holster when it becomes sweater and jacket weather.

For me jacket pocket or cargo pants pocket is #1. I own various shoulder holsters, + pancake, & belt holsters, but my all time favorite for open carry or under a coat - is this enclosed US military pattern "M-3 Holster" in natural tan leather (stains clothing less) See picture from Ebay @ $19.99 includes a girth strap + all chrome hardware. It can be worn over one shoulder with the girth strap, or across the chest like the photo. I think this one from EBAY is the best bargain on earth.

Hello, Most of the time, I carry strong side in a Dual Use Cross Draw Holster by Rusty Sherrick. I wear the holster just forward of my hip, so the gun is at the 2 O'clock, appendix position and the slight muzzle forward rake, makes for a fast and natural draw. I have these holsters for Browning Hi-Powers & COLT 1911s and I use a similar dual use cross draw (an old, Cover-Six by Galco) worn at the same position for my S&W J-Frames. Here's the Dual Use Cross Draw by Rusty: www.c-rusty.com/pages/holsters/cross.htmlFor magazine carriers, I use the PA. State Police Double Magazine Carrier by Rusty Sherrick and have them for my Browning's & COLT'S. This is a really nice mag carrier that takes up very little room on the belt. The PA. State Police Mag Carrier is the 2nd. one down on this page: www.c-rusty.com/pages/other%20prod/magcariers.htmlI also like Shoulder Holsters and had a coupla Galco Miami Classics. However, I don't like tension screws on holsters & mag carriers and the leather they use for the harness needs to be a bit heavier, other wise, they were OK for a mass produced product. I sold the Miami's but still have a Galco shoulder rig for J-Frames that I use from time to time. Currently, I'm trying to decide on new shoulder rigs for my Browning's & COLT'S. But the problem is, I like one makers holster and another makers mag carrier and, yet another makers harness. So, if forced to pick one today, I'd probably just go with El Paso's Spyder Rig and call it good even though they use tension screws. Hello, MC,
I don't like the holster not fully covering the slide and the mag carrier is a bit bulky.

Down here in SE Texas, Milt Sparks OWB works for me. In hotter weather, a pocket nine carried in a pocket is my carry of choice.
