The FEG clones get a lot of attention, but there are some other interesting and quality FEG models out there. I once had an FEG P9R but sold it to fund another purchase. Right now I have two Interamrs MK II models, the APK and AP, clones of the Walther PPK and PP. These are nice guns and are rather inexpensive and can be found in good condition. I like the Interarms version as they have my hometown, Alexandria, VA on them, and being partially of Hungarian heritage, just had to have them. I also have the FEG B9R imported by CAI, with the alloy frame. Trigger take up is really long on this double action pistol. Purchased it a couple years back when at a gun show looking for a Hi Power. Did not find the Hi Power, saw this on a dealer table in a holster and it caught my eye and was inexpensive. All are .380s.

Erich, very nice, the Hungarian Crest is great.
Anyone have any of the FEG compacts, such as the P9RK or the P9RZ or an AZK. I saw a compact P9RK in great condition on Gunbroker a few months back and was tempted, but passed. Not sure why, Now of course, I am sorry I did. Always regret the ones that get away.

What kind of magazine does the compact use? Thanks Chuck

It uses the same magazine as the full sized P9R. From what I understand, the frame is basically the same as the P9R with the exception of some cosmetic features, such as the finger grooves on the front grip strap.
