That's a beauty Craig. A pistol I never owned, but always thought they were interesting, quality, pistols. Never heard anything negative about Steyr GB quality and reliability, or anything positive about that hideous U.S. made "copy" called the Rogak P-18.

Does your Steyr have rotary locking system? Thanks Chuck Hi Chuck, There is NO actual locking system, as the barrel is stationary & attached rigidly to the frame. The recoil spring & gas escaping from the holes in the barrel dampen recoil. Because the barrel is fixed in place (like Walther & Makarov) accuracy is greatly improved. With this dampening system double taps are very easily controlled.

That's a beauty Craig. A pistol I never owned, but always thought they were interesting, quality, pistols. Never heard anything negative about Steyr GB quality and reliability, or anything positive about that hideous U.S. made "copy" called the Rogak P-18. Been wondering if there are any Rogak springs available, since there are NO Steyr GB springs anywhere. I don't need any yet, but would like some spares, & have been hunting them. Several years after the GB came out & had established a following, I first read about them. Never thought I could afford one, but everybody gets lucky sometime.
4/7/2018 Still keenly interested in Steyr GBs. Since the last post, I just missed buying a second GB from BUDS, after dawdling a few hours to long thinking about it. It was in excellent shape & had 2 magazines, but didn't last long @ $400. I also learned that a German company was re issuing them, but not replying to emailed inquires about US availability or spring kits. So it goes, but not giving up. It almost seems like STEYR is trying to forget a painful defeat (by Glock). A shame when compared to many lesser products on the market. The GB is worth keeping going. Always interested in any information or leads.
