I had a 4006 back in the day. In fact, I was one of the first Police Officers to have a pistol chambered for the 40 S&W cartridge in my county (I might have been THE first, I've never been sure). In any case, I traded that pistol away some years later for something else I had to have. Later on, I regretted that move. I wouldn't mind adding a good 4006, or even a 4003 to my collection again, but the price on these seems a bit steep to me. I wonder what they allowed on trade to the department who had them?

Hello,
They also have some decent deals on S&W Model 10 revolvers. A bit higher than what Budsgunshop was selling them for a couple of years ago. However, they are interesting!
Best,
Chris

When looking at used guns, keep in mind condition is a huge factor... Most of the used guns I have seen from Bud's were in really bad condition... like they bought the residual from a trade in lot... Of course I have not seen the guns SOG has, but the 4003 at lease look good... didn't look at the M10s, but the M64s didn't look bad. This is probably the third most expensive pistol I have bought... An amazing pistol all in all... FWIW V/r Chuck

Some fairly decent deals SOG was showing. If you ever see a S&W Model 10 w/3" Heavy Barrel let me know! I had one in 82 that I bought new for $225 OTD. Miss that revolver.
