Although I dont use PB, this is disturbing as many of these hosting services follow what others are doing/charging. I hope that is not the case here.
I used to use Dropbox when they allowed public sharing of images but they recently sunset that option.
I have been using Flikr and it has worked well, but you do have to pull out the image address/link from the embed code. This might be one image hosting service with a work around option.
If you wish to use Flick, upload your image, then select share, and then embed. Select the size and then copy the embed code. Then copy or cut the image address, it is in quotes after img src=
Here is the embed code I used for a recent posting of an FEG image, copy and paste the full embed code into a word processor and and then copy the address after the img src= (dont copy the quotes, only what is between, so take the https and then where the address ends with jpg
<a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/95913692@N07/34822397653/in/dateposted-public/" title="DSC_0244"><img src="https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4217/34822397653_ba2efa8aa0_c.jpg" width="800" height="530" alt="DSC_0244"></a><script async src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
After you copy of the address paste into the forum insert image box and it should work. Here is what you copy
It is pretty easy once you get the hang of it.
Hope this helps.
Todd

Yes, I'm aware of it...
Thanks to JayPee's generosity and consideration the problem should be fixed...

Based on what was happening on other forums, I downloaded all of my photos off of PB last night (Close to 5000 pics!).
This morning I saw that all of my photos on this and other forums were no longer there. I checked my SPAM folder on my email and saw that I got an email from PB on Thursday notifying me that they were disabling certain features on my account, mainly the ability to link my photos to forums.
When you download your folders from PB, they are put into zipped files. I just finished making new folders on my computer and extracting the photos from each zipped file into their respective folders. I am now using a new photo hosting site (Postimage.com) and it seems to be working fine.......

I'm reading all over Internet about this Photobucket shenanigans. I've received no contact from them asking for this outrageous fee yet (which I won't pay). And, I just logged onto PB and my library then posted a picture here with no problem? So I guess I'm a little confused what exactly is going on. On Facebook PB is being bombarded with angry customers and there opinions. Is this really happening, or really good fake news?

Hello wags, Unfortunately, it is really happening. Folks are really upset right now and jumping ship from PB right now. Since most of my photos are stored on my computers documents/pictures file, I have switched to imgur.com to use as a photo hosting site. Sadly, a lot of folks on PB were "ambushed" with the news that their 3rd Party posting options had ended....and most of their internet posted board pictures were blanked out.... That's why folks are so mad right now. Chris

In looking for free alternatives to PB, one site being recommended for 3rd party hosting is vgy.me Looks interesting, free, no account needed (so user name or email info attached to the image or hosting site), and immediately gives link address options for posting. One issue is if you wish to delete, you need to save the delete link key for the image, or perhaps have an account. Also, it looks like you have to have the image properly sized before uploading, and you can only upload one image at a time. I just uploaded an image to test without creating an account, got the link and posted. Simple and easy to use. I know it will not help all the folks using PB for past images, but going forward it might be an option.

HI Chuck, the grips came off an HP I purchased from a local gun board a few years back. The seller said he got them from an independent grip maker who was selling at the Nations Gun Show in Chantilly, VA. I cant seem to find any contact info on him.
