The cup was a gift to me from my wife's cousin. She said, "I saw this and thought of you immediately!" I have no idea why.
Here's another one that she and her husband got me...

All my handguns have been treated with Frog Lube. I use FL Extreme as an extra bit of wetness. They all run smooth with no hiccups or wear. The trick is to follow the directions for the initial treatment and wipe off all the CLP after cleaning. Not only does FL work, but my pistols all smell minty fresh.

Have you tried the newish Lucas gun products? They smell like the chemicals used to clean rest rooms... which is still better than some of the chemical smells you run into... I used Mobil 1 for many years in different viscosities, (depending on which one my car called for at that time.) Usually it was 0W20, but I've used weights as heavy as 15W50. The thing I love about synthetic motor oil is that when used liberally it keeps carbon in suspension and allows for a quick cleaning merely by wiping out the oil. But for the past three years I've used a new Lucas product called Extreme Duty Gun Oil on all sliding parts and it is an excellent lubricant. It's fairly heavy and was designed not to burn off when used in machine guns. I still use 0W20 in the small parts though, and I wouldn't hesitate to use Mobil 1 in any firearm I own. +++1, I have also used MOBIL 1 in all my firearms for the last few years, most frequently 15/50. I also use Mobil 1 in in all my of my vehicles, as synthetics have been scientifically proven to reduce wear, & migrate better than any other lubricant. It also keeps them clean & sludge free inside. A quart lasts a very long time - so it is also a very inexpensive solution.
