He might answer your question... V/r Chuck Rhetorical question..................... I found the thread there funny.....same moderator behavior as before followed by a thread lock..................can't stay away from a train wreck...... Reminds me of an aviation forum where some folks were banned for asking "Where's Fred?" 11 years later the new organization that formed is going strong, stronger than the old one.

Hello exfed2001, Well sir, we hope that you find the atmosphere here a lot more friendly and inviting! We are working hard to keep it that way! We actually want folks just to have fun and enjoy themselves here while sharing information.... Personally, I wouldn't go back to a forum for being suspended. That happened to me on the 1911.org forum when I quoted Sig Sauers marketing tag line "to hell and back reliability" and got suspended by the language "nanny".... Best, Chris

Yeah... Burgs and Submoa and I were chatting about the sudden tsunami of moderating we got in that forum after the last bout of moderator silliness, I had a rather childish urge to create a meme capturing the situation.

Jager, That is just plain too funny! Yeah... Burgs and Submoa and I were chatting about the sudden tsunami of moderating we got in that forum after the last bout of moderator silliness, I had a rather childish urge to create a meme capturing the situation. We would actually prefer to let members "self-moderate" themselves and that's pretty it in a nut shell... And, just have a good time.... If we have to delete a post due to content, than the member gets notified. If we have to move something, than no big deal. I have only had to delete one "duplicate" post here in the past three weeks. Not a bad deal at all! Best, Chris

At least 1911forum.com didn't ban me after I started a "reinstate Chuntaro" thread. It blossomed quickly then got hammered by the mods. Oh well.

Hello Folks,
Our BIG DEAL here is to encourage folks to post! There is wealth of information that you folks have to share with each other. My concern is that folks will join here and post very little to nothing. On a forum that moderated on years ago is now pretty much finished because of the lack of posting there.... Has anyone invited "Chuntaro" here yet?
Best,
Chris

Has anyone invited "Chuntaro" here yet? Yep. Right after I got my notification/invite. From about five different people, no less. Therefore, I suspect more than myself have contacted him.

Best, Chris Well, from what I see here, everybody is following the same path that the new aviation group took in 2006. Eleven years later we have over 3000 members and a lot of activity bedsides the board. Come to think of it, that annual get together is coming up this week in Fullerton, CA. Folks from all over the country are flying in.

Every day, the first thing I ask myself when I wake up is "Where is Burgs?"
I thought everybody did this.

I invited Chuntaro via a PM at handgunsandammunition.com back on May 21st. He said he was busy with retirement issues and might return to the internet before long when things slowed down.
