I'm looking at installing a rear adjustable sight in place of the fixed rear sight on my BHP. LPA makes "TPU" sights that are supposedly low profile and work with existing low profile front sight. The LPA TPU60BS07 is designed for a Browning HP "Sport". Question: Will the TPU60BS07 rear sight fit my Browning Hi Power Mark III Practical manufactured in 1991?
I believe it has 0.375” dovetail.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks

Do you like the look of this rear sight on your Mark II? Did it allow you to sight in your pistol accurately?

It’s easy to sight and is accurate.

Did you have to make any modifications to the sight (sanding, filing) or did it just slide in fairly easily?

It was easy but as a gunsmith i have 4 different sight pushers. The sight has a setscrew to lock it in place. No adjustments as in filing etc. were needed.
You can get the Browning sights the Practical with adjustable sights had and replace the both front and rear for just a little more.

I looked on the LPA website. I contacted LPA and they suggested the SPR62BN07 set (rear and front). I believe the SPR62BN07 set would result in a higher profile than TPU60BS07 single rear sight. Hoping to confirm this. I was hoping to use the TPU60BS07 rear sight because it is advertised as low profile and can be used with my existing low profile front sight. Will either the TPU60BS07 (advertised for "Sport") or TPU55BRO7 (advertised for "Vigalant") single rear sights fit my Browning Hi Power Mark III Practical? I want to make sure I get it right as I am ordering from FIERASHOP S.R.L. in Italy on Amazon.ca and I expect returning them is not an option. I attached 3 pictures.

It doesn’t have to be this melodramatic. Based on your total confusion don’t do it. Or you could purchase from a site like fusionfirearms.com who have a return policy. The sport model you selected should work with your MkIII dovetail. The vigilante model is for MKII or older hi powers.
