I’ve used Browning sears but about 20;year ago I started buying EGW sears for most of my firearms. Does anyone have a different sear they like?

I’ve used Browning sears but year ago I started buying EGW sears in most my firearms. Does anyone have a different sear they like? I just started to use the EGW hard sears, so right now I have only installed in one HP. It works well, quality was excellent, and at $30 it is $20 cheaper than a C&S sear. While I havnt compared them side by side, I have wondered if C&S gets their sears from EGW??? I was talking to Don Williams at Action Works, and I know he uses some of their parts. He mentioned that EGW was considering offering more HP parts in the future. This is due to the increased interest because of the Springfield SA 35 and multitude of Girsan HP clones now being offered.

I have normally purchased my sears at Midway and Midwest Gun Works but my last ones I ordered straight from EGW. I’ve used their reloading gages 1911 parts for years.
