Is anyone familiar or have seen a similar logo and know who it might belong to. It is on an HP Bar-Sto barrel but not on the frame or slide. I assume it is a gunsmith. Anyone recognize it? Thanks.

Got a lead on the logo. Fred Wardell, Wardell Precision, Phoenix area. Seems to have been active around 1980 into 90s. Searched some forums, a few posts about him, but most old, and the images are no longer available. American Handgunner had him listed in Jan/Feb 1991 issue in their Club 100, a list of the "best and brightest in the pistolsmithing profession, a hand chosen elite comprising the best 100 pistolsmiths in North America".
Anyone heard of him or know anything about him?

Received the Wardell Precision HP, and although I have not yet shot it, I am very pleased with the new addition to my collection. It came with 5 mags (mixed makers), Bomar sights, two Barsto barrels (one standard length, the other threaded), checkered front grip strap and partial front of trigger guard, hard chrome, polished flats, matte rounds, extended custom safety, oversized mag release button, and an action job with a nice #4 trigger. Very happy with the new addition. Very little info to be found on the pistolsmith beyond a few forum comments, mostly working in the 80s and 90s and his inclusion in a 1991 American Handgunner list of top 100 pistolsmiths. A few images
