Can anyone suggest a source for this model of the Tisas Regent BR-9? I have done only an internet search and gun shows lately, but haven't seen one.
If anyone is familiar with who might have this model in stock I would sure like to know about it. Thanks very much, I appreciate any information you can pass along.(Chasing another whim while waiting to change the sights on my Girsan MC-P35.) Best Regards - alabamafats

As an added update on the Tisas BR-9S (Stainless Steel) clone I have been seeking - I have continued to search the a source of this model and have learned a bit on the way: It seems EAA has stopped handling this model High Power clone. Some internet sources said this is due to it's unreliability and problems. The Girsan P-35 seems to be the replacement clone. Not stainless, of course.
I found two advertised locations on the internet selling the Tisas stainless version. One - "The Gun Shop" listed as "thegunshopne.com" still takes orders on their version of a web site and will accept payment information from Zelle. They are, however, seemingly out of business. Their telephone says "disconnected or busy". They advertise the Tisas BR-9S at $483.28. I do believe they are long gone however, as their business location is shown as in Morrill, NE all the way across the state of Nebraska next door to Montana. No contact and no answer in any event. Too bad.
Secondly, I found a source listed as "firearms-montana.com" with an address in Columbus, Montana and identifying themselves as "Starquest Shooters & Survival Supply" in Wilmington, Delaware. Upon calling their telephone you get the same treatment as at the gun shop in either Falls City, NE or Morrill, NE which is a phone that connects then immediately disconnects. A clue, I think.
After all this and lots of internet searching I conclude EAA has stopped supporting the Tisas BR-9S and has gone to the Girsan MC-P35 (I wish it were stainless, or that a stainless version were available).
I also conclude the boys in Nebraska, or Montana, or Delaware (wherever they might be) have stopped trying to do business. I just wish they would go ahead and take down their sales web sites.
If anyone has real and actual factual knowledge about these things I sure hope they will comment and set me and any other straight. I personally have given up on Tisas and will just keep on with the Girsan P-35. (Keeping my fingers crossed for a stainless version some day - just a personal whim and preference)
Thanks, you'all, please add some facts if you have them. Best Regards, alabamafats

Not sure if this is the case or not, but there is speculation and rumor that Tisas is producing the major components for final finishing and assembly for the Springfield SA-35 Hi Power clone. The rumor is they stopped selling in the US as they were supplying SA and would not compete with their own. Again only pure speculation and gossip, nothing concrete. Outside of a few issues with parts breaking, I believe the extractor and the firing pin plate were the main issues. Most reviews have generally been positive. I have one of the epoxy models with about 1500 rounds and no issues. When the stainless version came out I purchased 2, one where I put the Cylinder and Slide enhancement package on it, the other is unfired and saving. (Not interested in selling.) The Regent/BR9 was offered in Canada as the Canuck model. Not sure they are still selling in Canada and what difficulty you would have in importing to the US or if you even can. But might be worth checking out some sellers. Here is a link to a seller in Canada with a stainless Canuck. www.theshootingedge.com/cproduct/6573/canuck-hi-power-stainless-9mmAlso, set up searches with email notification on Gun Broker. They occasionally show up. I see two have sold in the past month or so. Nothing currently, but if you are patient, I would bet another one will be up for auction. This one sold for $$499 just about a week ago www.gunbroker.com/item/996409722This one sold June 10 for $624 www.gunbroker.com/item/990901406

If I recall correctly;
LKCI of Ohio was the importer of the Tisas BR9, not EAA. They were available in 2018 and for a short period after that... maybe early 2020... with Springfield offering the SA-35 in November 2021. As ToddSig states, the only problems were small parts breaking (extractor and FP Retaining Plate) and possibly paint flaking off some pistols. Perhaps they caught the interest of SA and discontinued the BR9 in the US. Tisas shows some beautiful High Powers on their website.
I purchased my BR9-SS directly from LKCI over a phone call in March of 2018. Customer service was only adequate for the purchase and less so when my extractor broke. Warranty support was through LKCI. After replacing the above two parts, it has worked just fine.
Cheers,
Tim

Todd, I only see one - nothing out of order that I see, or in this case, doesn't see.
Cody, your Avatar has been missing for a while now - could the problem be in your machine/system? I'm NO computer guy - so I am only guessing...

If you read your quoted post you had several paragraphs that repeated verbatim, that’s not normal unless it’s a mess up in Tapatalk.
