Just picked a pristine Browning Hi Power made in 2015. My dealer said it came from a divorce settlement. I plan on giving it a much happier home. There is not a mark on it and it looks like it has never been fired. Came with two 13 round “mouse trap” magazines (my favorite), box, and all the papers. The fired casing envelope shows a date of 2015, May. Haven’t fired it yet but the trigger seems crisp after the take up. It is not as bad as some of the Hi Power trigger pulls I have experienced. The announcement of the Springfield SA 35 a couple of years ago got me back into the Hi Power thing again (3rd time in my shooting career). Don’t have a SA 35 and don’t really plan on buying one. But after it was announced, I found a like new Browning Practical and two Grisan’s (a full size and a PI model). After a bought the compact PI model I sold the full size one to a friend. That PI model is really awesome. Oh, I almost forgot, I also have a FEG PJK coming that is supposed to be in very good shape. Will post some photo’s of that when I get it. My first experience with. a Browning Hi Power was in 1974 when I was issued a confiscated one when I made detective in the state police. Never had any formal training with it but I didn’t have any trouble. My next exposure to Hi Powers was about 2008 when I picked up two Argentine FM models. I also picked up a new Browning model like the one I bought today. The FM’s were nice but the Grisan’s seem nicer for HP copies. I will appreciate any thoughts or comments. Trooper Joe

Great find and fantastic condition. Glad you are back to shooting and collecting HPs and clones. Like your new HP, I like the later MKIII Sport models with the lo-mount adjustable sights. Looks much cleaner than sitting on top of the slide. I have a similar one, but dates to 2004. Congratulations on the find, and also on the incoming FEG. Post images of the FEG when you get. My 2004 with the lo-mount sights.

Very nice pick up. I bought one of those new ca. 2018. Mine has a 3-line slide, as you will see in the crappy photo attached. I'd like ToddSig to comment on the differences between his rear adjustable site and ours. Attachments:

Hello, Mister Coffee,
Yours, Todd's and Joe's are all the same. However, back when FN started using the LPA adjustable rear, the sight set high due to the slide only having a dovetail cut - then (and I don't remember the year) FN started machining the recessed pocket so the sight would set much lower.
