Thanks for the heads up Mr C. I have been looking for a light weight for some time now. I just placed an order. Cant say I like the finish, but will work on that.

Just checked the OOW site and the light weights are now listed as out of stock, so even with horrible finish they sold quickly. I am now thinking of what to do with the LW when I get it. Of course a new finish (although I hear removing Cerekote is possible, it can be a PITA) and sights to start. I need to call the Cerekote shop who finished my Detective and see about re-coating.

Did they have more than one? I have a feeling that toddsig got the only one, since that looked like a one off.

I just called OOW to confirm my order and confirmation they received the FFL info, which they did. I was told there was a total of 5, and they said they were all "nice" looking pistols.
Again, my thanks to Mr Coffee for posting the sale and link.

Congrats on grabbing a LW HP. They don't show up for sale very often. To me, that finish would have to go, but different strokes for different folks. Perhaps the finish looks better in person. Be sure and show us how you "made it yours".

The camo finish will not last long, perhaps one trip to the range. I was at first hesitant to purchase because of the finish, but my LW acquisition plan was always to refinish, so to my way of thinking the as purchased finish was of little concern and in the long run did not really matter.
I will post images once received and update as the project progresses.

A light weight is certainly a nice catch... the finish can be fixed... and it will look as good as new...
Thanks for sharing...
