Hello, The other day I pulled two sets of Navidrex, Fully Checkered Walnut, BHP Grips with Palmswells from my mailbox and they're most uniform, beautiful grain-matching, grip panels that I could have ever hoped for. The grain pattern on these grip panels is so close that they literally appear as exact opposites, and it's not all by luck either - the panels are cut and made from opposite pieces from the same block of walnut. The 'palmswell' contour is also very nice and offers a good, comfortable, solid-hold on the gun. Note: Navidrex panels with palmswells are still on the thinner side when compared to other makers and, the Navidrex palmswells doesn't add too much width to the grip of the gun - still nice-n-slim, but with a bit of contour. To those who may not be familiar with Andrew (Navidrex Grips) you'll NOT find a nicer, more caring man to do business with than Andrew, and to those who are familiar with Navidrex Grips and are looking for some new grip panels for their Hi-Power should give the palmswells a try. NAVIDREX Grips for BHP & 1911: www.navidrexgrips.com/Thanks Again to Navidrex, for great service and, such beautiful & comfortable BHP Grips. Bob Reed

Bob Reed Totally agree with Bob on Andrew and the quality of Navidrex grips. I would say Navidrex, Spegel and Aho (High Figure Grips) are my favorite for hand cut checkered grips. Spegel's have a long wait or high price outside of buying from Craig if you can find them, Aho grips have fantastic wood figure, but are expensive, and Navidrex grips are hand checkered, thin, feel great and inexpensive for what they are. And, like Bob mention, Andrew is great to work with. He will custom make grips on request. He has always sent me the grips first and then after they arrive he sends an invoice. A trusting guy and true gentleman. He deserves support from the HP collectors community.

I gotta say that I'm thrilled with the feel, fit, and the company too. I have a half dozen or more HP grips from other companies sitting in a shoebox where the Navidrex are staying on thw HP. I wish I knew about them sooner, I'll need to check out the palmswells now.
