At last some good news about the Springfield HP!! I have FINALLY gotten a Springfield HP. I have not yet had time to work it on the range yet, but from taking it down it seems to be really well made and nice Parker finish as well. The controls are still a bit stiff but that is typical of a new phosphate finish. The trigger is slightly heavier than I like, but smooth with a clean break. I think it would be easily improved a bit, but it may be that shooting it some will improve the pull some.
Happily they did not include the evil magazine interlock...
I think I will like it.
