Anybody here care to see blueprints of our favorite pistol? The file is zipped. I already unzipped my copies and was converted into a TIFF image. "A full set of blueprints for the Browning Hi-Power, specifically the Ingalls-created "Mk 1" variant. The Hi-Power is still an effectual pistol in use with the militaries of many countries around the world, and a need for freshly manufactured parts is always there, particularly if parts kits end up becoming more popular." - Wirbelwind defcad.com/library/a81c668a-ad46-4dc5-b670-342728369b4d/

Notice that the dimensions on these blueprints is in Imperial units, not Metric. When you click the link provided, the statement says "A full set of blueprints for the Browning Hi-Power, specifically the Ingalls-created "Mk 1" variant." The "Ingalls" therein should have been "Inglis" which produced the "Mk 1" marked Inglis hipower. Every blueprints have the original date of 6-29-43 and cancelled date of 11-15-45. Almost all the blueprints were stamped with "SMALL ARMS" at the bottom right portion. My understanding is that these obviously are all wartime blueprints produced in Canada which utilized Imperial units. The "SMALL ARMS" stamp is of the company Small Arms Limited in Long Branch Ontario, which you normally see on shoulder stock produced for this tangent sight HPs. These shoulder stocks were subcontracted by Inglis to Small Arms Limited.
