Just saw this video on Youtube University. A British Company manufactures another new Hi-Power clone. For me it's too early to say anything other than I doubt it will sell for $700. It looks great!

Thanks for posting this Wags. I posted this on another forum but also wish to share here. If anyone is expecting SA-35/Tisas/EAA prices, forget it. I emailed the importer and actually received a phone call back from a rep at Pacific Sporting Arms. Nice guy, had a great conversation. Longthorne, as you can note from the website makes shotguns, mostly manufactured in their facility in England. The PSA rep did not know how much $ and should know more in about a week or so. They have been working on the Hi Power for close to two years. No prices as of yet, but he said since the Hi Powers will most likely be manufactured by Longthorne, they will be at the top end of the market. I am thinking something along the lines of what Chuck Warner did. Right now, only a few prototypes have been made which PSA is aware of, probably small production numbers each year, no price point as of yet, but my own guess +/- $4,000 hopefully lower. No wait list as of yet, as they are not sure how to import, as PSA right now is licensed for shotgun imports, and might need to partner with another US importer. Also, exchange rates are not favorable right now. I asked for the price point on the shotguns, least expensive is $13,000/$14,000 area.

Thank you Todd for going above and beyond contacting PSA! Any information passed along is better than none (versus all the speculation currently being printed). Today starts the Dallas Safari Convention for the next three days which Longthorne Guns (according to their website) is supposed to introduce the Defiance High Power. In which configuration and with the hint of a price is the question. I really do wish them luck and hope they make it to our shores. But cost and product variations is what I'm most concerned about.

Hello,
The front strap treatment looks really nice and, the gun appears to be machined & finished nicely, but it's too bad they cursed this gun with a magazine disconnect, especially a frame mounted one like the FN GP Competition Model.
People that are obsessed with having a magazine disconnect are an odd lot to say the least, and Longthorne should NOT have included it - and if they were hell-bent on it, then use the trigger mounted version that's easily deleted.

All true Bob... Doesn't really matter though... I doubt I can afford the box it comes in... Much less the gun... FWIW Chuck Hello, The front strap treatment looks really nice and, the gun appears to be machined & finished nicely, but it's too bad they cursed this gun with a magazine disconnect, especially a frame mounted one like the FN GP Competition Model. Yes, it's going to be an expensive sidearm I believe. $3k plus is my thoughts. More than I'm willing to spend for a shooter. But again, I wish Longthorne success.

Man, it'd sure be hard to stockpile at those prices!
I also wish them much success in this endeavor.

The elegant sound of stings in the video is a wonderful change from the intros in most gun review videos these days.
I'm wondering why the trigger still features a hole for the old mag disconnect.
Cheers,
Tim

He says precious little beyond "We've made it better....A lot has changed since 1935....blah blah blah" I stopped listening at the 3 min. mark. I'll wait to see the gun (and the price point).
