Anyone making base pads, whats the solution, make your own, or does other pads fit the high power?

I believe that the basepads made for the Beretta will function correctly for the Browning mags. Someone will be along with a better memory and confirm or deny my statement.

For $10.26/pad, + S&H, one wonders if making them would not be more economical. The owner of any automatic pistol should own no less than 3 magazines, and 5 or 6 is better. 8"x8"x.25" neoprene sheets are for sale on amazon for $11.11/4, + S&H. Cyanoacrylate or epoxy glue, an exacto-knife, and a bit of grinding & drilling...

I bought some of these a few years ago... they work ok, but the double stick tape that holds the pads to the magazine is very old. I had to glue them on... but that isn't a great issue. This is the same type of pad (if not the same pad) that Packmyer used to put on their version of HP mags 25 years or so ago. They may be pads Packmyer used on their mags SARCO bought as surplus.
