Recently I purchased for little money two vintage poker chip cases, probably from the 1960s. As a self described Browning Hi Power geek, I am not only into the pistols, but accessories and ephemera too. When I spotted these two boxes I though they would make perfect Hi Power custom presentation pistol cases, one a faux brown alligator box, the other in a tight canvas covering. With some hobby board, core boards, velvet fabric, a table sabre saw and a glue gun I transformed the old chip cases into custom French fitted Hi Power pistol cases. They turned out pretty well. I have repurposed some new boxes as well, but actually the vintage cases are nicer, a perfect size and less expensive. A fun project for the long weekend.

Plenty of room for a couple of loaded mags.

I'm beginning to worry about you, Todd. I'm going to have somebody drive by the house to check on you.

I'm beginning to worry about you, Todd. I'm going to have somebody drive by the house to check on you. Tell me about it Mr C. I have to hide half my stuff from my wife, which is getting hard to do.
