Posted this on antoher forum as well, but wanted it documented on High Power Collectors. From the Tisas Facebook page, posted 8/27/21. "Our new model that we designed according to your suggestions and requests. COMING SOON!" Anybody heard anything about this new Tisas Hi Power model? Found nothing on the Tisas website, only the teaser info on Facebook. Link to the Facebook page Log into Facebook

I like the safety (if ambi) and the grips, but that's about it. We'll have to wait and see if there are any internal changes.

I like the safety (if ambi) and the grips, but that's about it. We'll have to wait and see if there are any internal changes. It is interesting, but much has been copied or taken from other Hi Power parts or suppliers. The safety and extended slide stop appear to be from the SFS modification, the grips look a lot like Coolhand grips, coolhandgear.com/catalog/product/gun-grips/coolhand-burgundy-g10-gun-grips-for-browning-hi-power-and-tisas-regent-br9-hp-n1-6/ , not sure of the sights, and fish scale slide serrations are reminiscent of Kimber 1911s, and the logo behind the fish scale engraving is similar to Nighthawk Custom. Not that that is bad. Although I think Tisas would have more interest if they had designed their modifications, such as their own safety, slide stop, hammer, unique grips, French borders, or added a short beavertail. Making it a bit more original and semi custom. Most reviwes have been positive for the early Tisas Hi Power clones, so a good platform for Tisas to build upon. That said, in my opinion Tisas should be a little more original in the design. While an interesting upgrade, again, like the first version, some greatly missed opportunities.

Is this a replacement for the previous model, or is this in addition to the previous model? Is that hammer like a C&S hammer, or like a Hi-Power rowell hammer? I would have been happy if, from the start, they had just made a faithful copy of a gun from around the T- or C-Series era. Thanks for the post, Todd.

Thanks to Todd for posting this and, Thanks to Tisas for their 'traditional' style HP models - please keep them coming.

Not sure Mr C, all the Facebook post shows is the quick teaser, with the coming soon. From what I can tell, it was just revealed a couple of days ago at the 2021 International Defence Industry Fair, in Turkey. The roll marks are not the same as the US import Regent, so not sure if it is to be a separate model or if they plan to continue with the first version. Not even sure if it will be exported to the US. Currently I dont think any Tisas BR9s have been coming into the US. The Facebook page along with the image has a bunch of comments, mostly in Turkish. No real help as to if or when it will be manufactured or imported into the US. I was thinking the hammer looked like a C&S style hammer as well, but it also could be the angle the image was taken.

Good eye, Will.
Hopefully, Tisas will drop the dreaded magazine disconnect on all the models and crank up the production too! The World needs a steady supply of Hi-Powers, clones or not... we need Hi-Powers!

The World needs a steady supply of Hi-Powers, clones or not... we need Hi-Powers! Hey Bob, perhaps your wish is coming true. Was just posted on a different Hi Power forum, EAA importing Girsan (another Turkish manufacturer) MKIII Hi Power Clone. $528 So now two Turkish manufacturers producing Hi Power clones, just need to get them to US distributors and dealers. eaacorp.com/product/girsan-mc-p35/and from Guns.com www.guns.com/news/2021/09/01/eaa-debuts-new-mc-p35-hi-power-clone

Todd, thanks for posting this - it's good news for sure.
It looks like they copied the ramped front sight that was on the fixed sight Practical Model and thankfully stayed with a Mk III style rear.
Excluding the frame being defaced with a "warning label", it's a nice looking HP.

And the last pic, the 'MC-P35', does have the mag disconnect pin on the trigger?
One wonders why the altered mag disconnect on the "GP35 Competition" model wasn't adopted? Apparently much less trigger interruption. Only ever seen one, and it was worn out. Should have bought it anyway.......
I daresay we'll never see the new Turkish versions in Oz!
