During a through cleaning and comparing what is what the better trigger moves with the upper slide. The BS AIRIES-61 slide has the short crisp let off. The '87 has the long crunch spongy let off.
Going to call Spegel about grips. Looks like $65 + S&H will get me by. Screw head size ? BS AIRES-61 screw head is smaller.
Going to bust out some NORINCO 9mm for some testing in the morning.

Spent most of the evening reading the many informative pots here. Ton of food for thought.
It was good to have examples of two BHP's to compare the why trigger actions are so related to pre and post FP safety actions.
Lots left to read up on. I had a trade in 1968 with an Australian MP for ba 1911 .45 but I was to young to to understand the 9mm at the time and just don't recall key details. Mostly the difficulty getting 9mm ammo in the field.Proof youth is wasted on the young.
Back to the books and I got a good look at two early HP's on auction last night.
