Hello I'm new to gun collecting but I came across a browning hi power 9mm that I can't figure out when it was made. The serial number is F30151 I can't find anything on this. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Les, you had two responses from your first post requesting info on a Hi Power with serial #F30151. As I mentioned, it sounds like an FEG serial number not an FN/Browning. Try posting some images and we will see if we can get you some more information on the Hi Power. But as far as I know, FN/Browning did not use F as a serial number prefix. FEG, the Hungarian maker of Hi Power clones did. From what you posted, I assume what you are looking at is an FEG clone of a Hi Power. Markings would help, but in addition to properly roll marked FEG clones, they also produced some counterfeit FN marked Hi Powers.
