Had a couple of failures to extract in my Tisas. This weapon has had a FN extractor installed since new and has about 1200 rounds through it. Upon removal of the extractor I found a large chunk of burnt powder the consistency of mud trapped between the internals of the cut in the slide before the extractor spring. The hook was clean, but the debris would not let hook seat fully

I'd clean the 'gunk' out and see how it runs. FWIW Chuck quote author=" kimchek" source="/post/7824/thread" timestamp="1624803057"]Had a couple of failures to extract in my Tisas. That's not an uncommon issue. I try to spray solvent and air under my extractors every 2 or 3 cleanings.
