Trigger work needed too feels like rusty bearing scrubbing sand paper.
Pretty sad but if I can get it shined up and internally smoothed up it is a deal.

If you want one of the good ones, then contact: Don Williams @ The Action Works here in Az. He is a one man shop, and a class act to boot. He can disassemble the gun and send it for a re-blue, and then do the trigger work and anything else you would need/want. He has done two(2) BHP for me, and I am 100% pleased.

Both are great suggestions. But with desired trigger work I would go with Don Williams and ask him to install a Garthwaite trigger and hammer. I would also suggest a longer safety. Don can enhance yours. Then you will have the best parts installed by one of the best HP smiths out there.

A comment here... a gun that gets used will develop finish wear... no way around it...
If that were mine gun I'd flood the rust specks with oil to stop active rust and use it as is... refinish and it will develop wear again...
