I think CZ owning Colt's will be a good thing for the company for a number of reasons.
First, I think CZ know how to operate a business a lot better than Colt's which should produce a lot better availability of product. Colts can sell a lot more of various pistols than they have been making in a long time... they have a large pent up demand for pistols such as the single action army, the various 357 revolvers, various 1911 types... maybe even the New Servce!!
No one can argue with CZ's quality and product reliability.
If they market some of CZ's plastic guns they should have a good product that can compete for the police business with their plastic guns! Anyone remember the Colts branded CZ-100 pistols they made in the 1990s?
I'd say this should be good for both Colts and CZ.
FWIW

I think that for the Colt fans, this is a good deal. CZ know how to run a business, and listens to it's customers.......something Colt never did. If CZ will move Colt Mfg. to a gun friendly state, and use good quality control, they will be a step forward. Colt inventory need to be available to the public to purchase......esp. SAA.

Agree with the above. Just would add: It couldn't hurt. Also, don't see Colt leaving CT. It could happen, but there is an extraordinary amount of history there, and a better solution would be for both parties (State of CT and Colt) to make things work. You give a little, I give a little, we all get along.

Unfortunately, there won't be any kiss and make up between & make up between CZ-Colt and the state. The state has dumped a lot of money into Colt, but nearly all the money winds up in the union bosses... and Colt winds up on the brown end of the stick stuck in a liberal hell hole of a state... And why would gun owners try to help a company run by gun grabbers? If CZ is smart they will get out of CT and move to a gun friendly state... like others have done? FWIW Chuck Agree with the above.
