Hello, gents. Although new, I thought this looked odd. Other than the importer placing their stamp prominently on the left side of the slide....I haven't seen a small FN roll stamp like this on the left side of a high power. Is this a FN, a FM clone ? If FN, is this a MK II? I see the external extractor and fixed sights, but with thumbprint safety. Jim

Not sure of its birth date, whether the FN license was still valid, but you have an FN-licensed, FM-made, BHP.

Hard to say if it was license built or not... FM kept on building HPs after the FN license expired... but you definately have one made in the Argentine... Much Thanks, Gents. I was looking at this on an auction and passed. Learning the history of these; not to mention who was making what where, is great. Jim
