Hi all! Here's a fun video for your viewing pleasure. This is part 1 of a two part look at a couple of great Cold War era pistols. Take a look, and be sure to let me know what YOU think of my conclusions regarding these two Cold Warriors!

Howard, you do a great job with your videos.
I'd take a CZ 75 over an M9, without hesitation.

I'm with Bob... I would take a CZ75b over a Beretta 92 any day... the CZ's much more comfortable grip by it's self is enough reason to go with the CZ... the other advantages are gravy... FWIW Chuck Howard, you do a great job with your videos. I'd take a CZ 75 over an M9, without hesitation.

HRFunk great video. I have an original CZ-75 pre b made in 1992, it has a later slide release I put on it. It was a Czech Police surplus gun made in Czechoslovakia. I checked the trigger pull with the same instrument that you used. I found the double action to be 4.69 pounds and the single action to be 2.18 pounds

Yes. Awesome videos sir. I happen to have a 92FS made in the mid 80s and a new CZ75BD. I love both designs. But the CZ just happens to be nicer. I realize the two pistols I have are really apples and oranges as these new CZs are even sweeter than the older ones, and my old 92 is well used. But there is no comparison in grip and feel during the shot cycle. If I had to choose, it would be the CZ.

Both videos are really good... well done and professional... thanks for sharing.
I dug out my 1992 vintage CZ75b I bought new at the Dallas Market Hall gun show about 1996 for the munificent sum of $179.00... slightly more than the FEG P9 I bought new at the same show for $175 (it was a pretty good day looking back.)
The CZ 75b has a splendid trigger on it in single action mode and the DA pull is good is very good... I took them to the range and had fun shooting it...
The ergonomics on the CZ, IMHO beats the Beretta hands down... but again everyone's hand is different.
FWIW
Chuck
