That is a great catalog of roll stamps... I really appreciate your sharing it...
I can add a couple of comments that may make clearer a few items.
First, the marking on the trigger guard of 'Silesia' does not denote the region called Silesia that was a part of Imperial Germany and later of Poland. It is, rather, the name of an importer in Germany who imported firearms into Germany as late as the 1980s... and maybe later. The marking can be found on not only HPs, but also on S&W and Colt's pistols. Quite a few of their imports were sold via the U.S. Military Rod and Gun clubs in Germamny... I have a friend who has a S&W M29 44 Magnum so marked he bought in the 1970s.
Second the photo shown that questions if the mark on that gun might be Ottoman is in error. The Ottoman Empire ceased to exist between the end of WWI in 1918 and the establishment of the Republic of Turkey in 1922... Which ever date you like the Ottoman empire was long gone by the time the HP came on the scene.
I really enjoyed seeing the photos... thanks very much... great stuff!!
V/r
Chuck

V/r Chuck Thank you Gents for your feedback. Appreciate it much. I'm still learning. Hi Chuck, Thank you for your comment. I went back to search on some references about this unidentified crest. Found some which have some similarities: 1. Patiala – rifle and sword (center) except the lion (right) and the horse (left). I can’t seem to figure out what is the figure on top of the crest (on the Hipower slide) whether it’s a plain crown or an elephant figure. Probably during the rule of Yadavindra Singh (1938-1971)? www.hubert-herald.nl/BhaPunjabPS.htm#Pat 2. Hashemite Kingdom (Iraq) – lion (left) and horse (right) except for the figures at center where a sword and spear (or scepter?) are shown. Could it be the hipower crest was post Faisal II rule? www.almanachdegotha.org/id253.html en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_kings_of_Iraq#/media/File:Coat_of_arms_of_the_Kingdom_of_Iraq.svg 3. Iraq Ground Forces (2003) – there’s the rifle (right) and sword (left) with two flags (backdrop) positions which are almost similar to the Hipower crest except the lion and the horse are absent. www.hubert-herald.nl/Iraq_bestanden/image085.jpg www.hubert-herald.nl/Iraq.htm So what could it be? After I posted the thread above, I continued sipping through several gun forums and I found several posts from cpw. Looks like I need to be corrected on some regions I mentioned especially there's information that FM (not FN) did the contracts for some. Much to learn. a. forums.1911forum.com/showpost.php?p=1718241&postcount=4 post # 4 by cpw dated 02-01-2008, 05:04 PM (indicating other countries I haven't included above) b. forums.1911forum.com/showpost.php?p=1722984&postcount=15 post #15 by cpw dated 02-06-2008, 02:08 PM (same as item a) c. forums.gunboards.com/showthread.php?795466-FN-High-Power-Post-War-Military-amp-Police-Contracts&p=7136698#post7136698 post #20 by cpw dated 07-03-2017, 07:01 PM (same as item a) d. forums.gunboards.com/showthread.php?71257-SILESIA-Hi-Power&p=542407#post542407 post #5 by cpw dated 10-24-2008, 12:10 AM (notes on "AKAH, GECO, & NORIS" apart from the ones marked with "SILESIA")

pjk9hp: Great documentation of the crests. Can't imagine where you found all of these. Thanks, as always.

Another possible country using the Hashemite crest is Jordan; the royal family of Jordan is also Hashemite

The mags we had for our L9A1 Brownings back in the day also had the little "FN xxxx" (year, i.e. 1968) procurement stamps on them. I still have a few amongst my old kit.
The pictured example above has a 1985 S/N and an 1986 procurement date. The close-up of the slide legend has a 1967 procurement date.

Great efforts !! I want to point out that the last one (the unidentified) is a hashemite kingdom of Iraqi crest (1932 -1958)
