Has anyone had a chance to do a comparison between the very last production Browning Hi-Powers, the ones with the 3-line roll marks, and the 2-line models? When I got my 3-line BHP, I immediately sensed that it felt different, but, when Bob Reed pressed me, I was unable to say specifically what the difference was. Maybe there is no difference, but I bet some of the experts on this forum could do an analysis on this for the record. Any takers? Thanks.

I have a 2015 and a 2016 production HP. I didn't notice any difference that was great enough that it was greater than the usual variations between individual models...
Hopefully I can get one of the 2017 guns... if so I'll post on how it feels...
In comparing various HPs made over the years there is a small amount of difference in the feel of the guns... but that is true of other guns too...
FWIW

Thanks a Million, Mister Coffee!
The letters on the L.H. Side of the trigger guard must have started with this serial number range as well.
Thanks again for posting the photos, you did good camera work, Sir.

Hope you get one in hand, Bob, and see if it feels any different to you.
