I know that this is an old thread that I'm bringing back from the dead, but I just ran across it. Note that the FEG used by Denzel Washington in American Gangster is the "modernized" FEG with the 1911-style slide stop and the accompanying "triangular" cuts in the slide, as well as the little flare at the toe of the frame.. It's curious that I have an FEG Hi Power clone that is of the earlier P9 configuration and true to the usual Pre-MKII Hi Power - EXCEPT that mine has the little flare at the toe of the grip as well. I think that it is correct to say that, with FEG, there is usually no such thing as "usual". (Mine is also marked "P9M", but this was put on the pistol as part of the import marks, not so marked by FEG.
