This is my Makarov made in 1963 in the USSR. It's an Izhevsk produced pistol.
I picked it up for cheap, when Russian surplus weapons were plentifull. The supply has dried up in Europe and prices have gone up.
I guess they have all been pressed back into service in the war in Ukraine.
I like the Makarov. It's pretty accurate and the 9x18 is a snappy round. The only downside is, it likes to fling the spend cases straight back, ontop of my head.
