Based on the information from Anthony Vanderlinden they started the WaA140 production at serial number 93,000 in December 1941 and the production average was 4,200 guns a month. That should put the production of this gun around March or April 1942. Keep in mind after they dropped the tangent sight and magazine safety they had production up to 12,000 guns a month. I've had this one a long time and have no history on it. It is 100% original down to the magazine with a bore that is 9/10 IMHO. There are a few lightly etched areas on the finish that based on other guns I've got and know the history of may be blood traces.
