Girsan is really killing it with new models. First about a year ago the basic MC P35 with various finishes, then engraved models, then the Match and Ops, then the PI (Detective) and now the announcements of an optics ready Ops version. Gundigest has an article, gundigest.com/handguns/first-look-eaa-girsan-mc-p35-ops-optic?fbclid=IwAR2hUiJHYVYuVmb7U5jo1-LXVhjk0ErDiAKSV_p_B4oaGB44-UW9y-DF0_YGundigest reports "The slide of the MC P35 OPS Optic is milled to directly accept RMS/RMSc-pattern red dots without the use of an adaptor plate. EAA also claims that some Holosun optics will fit it as well, though these will possibly require an adaptor plate. Each pistol will also ship with an EAA Far-Dot 4-MOA red dot sight." "The optics-ready MC P35 OPS has an MSRP of $850 and will be shipping to dealers soon." I was planning on getting an Ops version, but now I might wait for the Ops Optic edition. BTW, given all of the new Girsan models now being offered, I added a Girsan topic to the High Power Pistol Discussion category, along with FN, FEG, Inglis, Tisas, Springfield, etc.
