No I'm not excited about this clone. Another Turkey made HP clone for the pickings I guess. Sub $500 pistol. A few You Tube University videos of it which doesn't actually tell you anything other than they shot 200rds through it. And the one that I viewed it did work for the sub 15 minute video.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the email BHSpringsolutions sent out saying they currently have a Girsan MCP35 and shortly be video taping a testing of it like they did the SA-35. Maybe no one cares..... or they're patiently waiting for anything to see the results?

I noticed that.. There is also a full page FN ad for the new High Power II... Or maybe it should be called a Mk. IV? FWIW Chuck EAA's Girsan MCP35 makes the cover of the May 2022 American Rifleman.

EAA's Girsan MCP35 makes the cover of the May 2022 American Rifleman. Although I dont see it yet on EAA website, American Rifleman also has a web article on the Girsan MCP35 Match. Looks interesting, beavertail, flat trigger, beveled mag well, and adjustable sights. Link to the American Rifleman page is www.americanrifleman.org/content/editor-s-choice-eaa-girsan-mcp35-match/

CDNN has a special on the EAA MCP35, $485.99 (normally $563.00). I just ordered one, with shipping, $492.69. Basic black model. Still have an issue with the frame safety manual warning, but cant beat the price. www.cdnnsports.com/eaa-girsan-mc-p35-9mm-black.html

I'm coming to this sort of late, but I just found this site. Hope it's Ok to add to this thread. I purchased a Girsan MC P-35 a few months ago from Sportsman's Warehouse, for just over $500, out the door. My wife and I took a day trip out to Roanoke (Va.) from the Richmond area to pick it up. I had ordered a black/silver one, but when it came in it was Flat Desert Earth color. I was disapointed, but decided to go ahead and take it. I figured they had run out of the black/silver one and the FDE was what they had to fill the order, and the Lord only knew when I'd see another...That has turned out to be right, because I haven't seen another one on their website since. In the meantime, the FDE has grown on me, and I don't mind it at all. It's just different. Now I'm an old man and I don't shoot as much as I maybe used to, so I've only put a couple hundred rounds through the gun, but it's been malfunction free for that "test." A couple of different types of common factory range ammo, and some of my reloads, with a few loose hollowpoints thrown in at random. I don't shoot it any worse than I do any other 9mm handgun. The trigger breaks about 7.5 lbs., but is crisp and doesn't feel that heavy at all. No slide bite problems. The sights are not a problem, or at least not a problem that a little orange nail polish on the front sight didn't take care of. I didn't think I'd care for the rather plain black rubber grips, but have found them to be quite comfortable. I think they look pretty good against the FDE color. Not as nice as the black/silver would have been, but OK. All the controls are easy to reach. The safety is much nicer than the conventional one found on HP's in that it clicks on and off positively, and it is of course, amberdextious. The barrel is brightly chromed, in and out. Now two things that are "wrong" with it. I have yet to be able to figure out how to remove the mag disconnect. I've done it on a couple/three other HP clones with no problem, but this one has me stumped. I'm reluctant to remove the trigger assembley because I have read the pins are a different type than the ones used on other HP's, and there are no spares available (Or something like that). I figure knowing my luck, I'd mess up something, so the mag disconnect stays for now. It's a range gun only so it's not really a big deal anyway. The other one sort of baffles me. I've got an ELMS (Expert Laser Marksman System ) laser gizmo in 9mm that drops into the chamber, and fires a laser dot when the gun is "fired." It fits every other 9mm handgun I've ever tried, including my FEG HP, but it will not fit this gun for anything. No idea why. Any and all types of factory and reloaded ammo I've tried fit just fine. Now this ELMS is longer than a conventional 9mm cartridge, so I assume that's the problem, and just don't use this one for the ELMS.
