Post images of your Tisas BR9s. A few to get started. Below is my epoxy BR9, an early Jan 2018 BR9 purchase before the Stainless models were available. Stock with the exception of removing the mag safety.I also have two BR9 stainless models. The first I upgraded with the Cylinder and Slide Enhancement kit, which includes a Sear Lever Pin, Extractor Pin, CNC Firing Pin Stop, CNC Extractor, "No Bite" Chamfered Hammer, CNC Sear, Extended Combat Safety, Extractor Spring, 18.5# Recoil Spring, a main spring, and Firing Pin Spring, and I added the C&S Wide combat trigger, and it is wearing Hogue G10 Piranha grips. The trigger is great. The last two images are of a spare BR9 stainless that I purchased to stash away in the event they became hard to find (as is not the case). It is totally stock and unfired.

That is some expert photography. I have a BR9-S bought online, heading to my FFL soon. I ordered replacement pins and reliability kit from hpss to install before my first range session. I like the black grips on your stainless. I wish mine didn’t have the nra logo. I don’t believe in wearing or sporting anyone’s logo unless it is for the product itself, or if they paid me to do so. I will want to replace them with some nice feeling, ergo-enhancing grips. I am used to how affordable 1911 grips are and don’t want to blow a hundred bucks or more o grips. Were those stock or did you instal those? If you installed, do you recal the price, and where did you found them?
I suppose the newness of my parts sourcing is showing. Appreciate any grip suggestions.
I also ordered one SFS and the new trigger hpss just began offering that is designed to be more like a 1911 trigger. I have a P35 that has some pitting on the slide. I have jewelers experience and have been resisting the urge to polish those pits away. I suppose I could coat it to cover them; the pitting bugs me. I am going to shoot the P35 and BR9 heads up to see whether I prefer shooting the P35. I hope to find the Tisas comparable. I will put the SFS and trigger on my favorite, and add night sights. I would love to have a picatinny rail for a light, but I don’t want to drill the frame for that. I have a Recover Tactical grip/ rail adapter on my Govt 1911 and it works well as a rail. But the non-textured grip is too slick for my liking. I may cover it with grip tape but that would be pretty fugly to me. I would rather go with the Recover Tactical grips on my HP than drill the frame, but once again the drawbacks to the Recover Tactical grips. i would like the RT grips better if they offered textured upgrades to the scale inserts, maybe some cool G10 options.

Congratulations on your purchase of a Tisas BR-9 SS. You are going to enjoy it, the fit and finish are great, and the feedback from most who have purchased has been very positive. Beyond some of the minor part issues which have been well documented by BHSS and others and are easily correctible, the BR9s are considered pretty solid Hi Power clones at a great price point. I have not had any issues on my stock epoxy BR9 other than some epoxy chipping near the muzzle, but no internal part issues. On a SS or silver chrome frame, I think black grips look the best. Great highly compatible contrast between the silver and black. You can find some used grips on eBay. The grips on my BR9-SS are Hogue black piranha grips, link is www.hogueinc.com/grips/browning-grips/hi-power/extreme-series-g10/browning-hi-power-piranha-grip-g10-solid-blackMany Hi Power enthusiast like Navidrex Micarta black grips, about $50. They are some of the thinnest grips available, and many consider them second to Craig Spegel handmade grips. Link to Navidrex grips www.navidrexgrips.com/product-page/browning-hpOther grips that work well, but are getting expensive are the vintage Uncle Mikes, black rubber based on Craig Spegel's design. They come up on eBay. VZ also has some good G10 grips, here is their Ultra slim grip, link to their HP grips vzgrips.com/platforms/pistols/browning/hi-power/Post some images and your thoughts on the BR9 when you get it and let us know what grips you decide upon.

For Hi Power grips - I prefer just plane checkered black plastic - I buy the FN military style grips.
