Hey all, Here's how everything began: I hope you won't be too harsh. My experience is so to say behind and not infront of the camera. To summerize the video - I just entered the 1911 world and my choice was the STI Ranger II in .45 ACP I do believe it's quite a decent gun (grips are trash) and a very good base for a BHSS project. If there is interest in that, I'll keep you informed. Best Slav

She Looks Good, Slav. Who are you guys using for gun leather over there? Thank you Bob. Unfortunately, leather options here are quite limited. On the picture you can see an Italian Vega holster, but I needed to alter it in order to like the way it looks and feels. Masc holsters from Turkey are having a strong run here but I have a problem with everything coming from that country (personal). Other than those - Sickinger, and a Bulgarian manufacturer who produces holsters for the Makarov, Sigs, Glocks and the rest of the bunch but not 1911. So it's quite a limited market because the high quality holsters are expensive and most of the people don't realize that the high quality holster might save your life...or balls for that matter.

Yes, your pistol looks good, and comforting. Thank you for sharing.
